For an August 2024 start, our client, a prestigious day and boarding school in Nantong, China, seeks an exceptional individual to lead a boarding house. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly qualified teacher with boarding experience to make a real difference in the lives of students.

Offering a complete 12-year education system, the school has a total area of 80,000 m2 and started admitting Chinese nationals in September of 2022. Adopting the same Victorian architectural style as in England with teaching areas, boarding accommodation, school halls, dining halls, an indoor sports hall, as well as a swimming pool and outdoor football pitch.

Lead a dedicated team: Provide guidance and support to boarding staff, ensuring all students receive exceptional care.

To be successful as the Boarding Housemaster / Housemistress, you need an education related bachelor’s degree or equivalent.  You must be a native English speaker, with a minimum 2 years’ working experience as a leader in a boarding house and preferably school leadership experience. Ideally you will have experience working in an international and / or bilingual school setting.
