The Ideal Candidate:
  • Bachelor's degree or above.
  • Library Science (essential) and Teaching certificate e.g. PGCE (desirable)
  • Strong communication skills in English.
  • An experienced library professional with a passion for education, ideally in international school settings.
  • Proven leadership skills with a collaborative spirit, fostering teamwork and open communication.
  • An architect of engaging library experiences and information literacy programs, adept at weaving technology and creativity into every learning journey.
  • A champion of student curiosity, dedicated to nurturing a love of learning in every young mind.
  • A Master of Library and Information Science (MLIS) or equivalent qualification.
  • Significant experience working in a school library, ideally in an international setting.
  • Expertise in managing digital library software and services, including LibGuides, Follett Destiny, EBSCO, Gale, JSTOR, and others.
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret circulation data and plan strategically for future development.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Mandarin a significant advantage.
