The Ideal Candidate:
- Bachelor's degree or above.
- Library Science (essential) and Teaching certificate e.g. PGCE (desirable)
- Strong communication skills in English.
- An experienced library professional with a passion for education, ideally in international school settings.
- Proven leadership skills with a collaborative spirit, fostering teamwork and open communication.
- An architect of engaging library experiences and information literacy programs, adept at weaving technology and creativity into every learning journey.
- A champion of student curiosity, dedicated to nurturing a love of learning in every young mind.
- A Master of Library and Information Science (MLIS) or equivalent qualification.
- Significant experience working in a school library, ideally in an international setting.
- Expertise in managing digital library software and services, including LibGuides, Follett Destiny, EBSCO, Gale, JSTOR, and others.
- Strong analytical skills to interpret circulation data and plan strategically for future development.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Mandarin a significant advantage.
