The Opportunity
We are searching for a passionate and experienced Director of Quality Assurance and Standards to join our client's dynamic leadership team. You will play a pivotal role in overseeing and enhancing the quality of education delivered across all their schools. Key Responsibilities
• Lead the organization of Quality of Teaching (QoT) moderation using a peer review system across all schools.
• Analyse and interpret data to produce comparative reports for schools, sub-committees, and governing boards.
• Ensure consistency in the implementation of agreed academic policies across all schools.
• Oversee annual review processes and collaborate with relevant departments for smooth execution.
• Support schools with CIS/COBIS/WASC accreditation processes.
• Maintain high safeguarding standards through regular audits and reporting.
• Contribute to the research and development of innovative educational practices.
• Liaise with external bodies and participate in relevant conferences to stay abreast of current trends in international education.
• Train staff at all levels, from new teachers to middle leadership, in collaboration with the HR department.
Qualifications & Experience
• Master's degree in Education or a related field (preferred)
• Proven experience working in a senior leadership capacity in schools (minimum 5 years)
• Demonstrated track record of raising academic standards and ensuring compliance
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build strong relationships
• Strong analytical and data interpretation skills
• In-depth understanding of international schools, their challenges, and opportunities
• Confidence in working across diverse cultures and backgrounds
Preferred Skills
• Experience with quality assurance frameworks and methodologies
• Familiarity with international accreditation processes
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Passion for research and innovation in education
