Elementary / Primary English Teacher, English Language Centre, Wuxi, China
Our client is an English language centre catering to 3- to 16-year-olds, that respects teachers, especially their time and rewards accordingly. Born out of ambition to create a unique and functional curriculum. Ambition to attract passionate and inspiring teachers and to provide an environment that allows teachers and students abilities to flourish without hindrance. Majority Western owned, all shareholders are either educators or parents.
Committed to their craft, with a fluid approach, they have a proven track record of taking children from the age of 3 who could not speak a word of English and teaching them until they can debate and write persuasive essays to a college standard.
Now in their tenth year, with 6 centres in Wuxi and over 1,500 students, they are expanding, and as such are seeking qualified native English speakers to teach English to 3 to 16-year-olds.
As the Elementary / Primary English teacher, you will teach small class sizes of between 4 - 12 students their in-house curriculum “KidTalk”, Wednesday to Friday 1600 – 2000, Saturday to Sunday, 0830 – 1730. You will facilitate the use of new language in a supportive environment that mimics real life scenarios whenever possible, using pre-provided realia, such as cooking food in the student kitchen facility. The lessons and languages overall aim will be for students to take the language out of the classroom and use it in everyday situations with confidence.
As the English teacher, you will work in one of six modern, conveniently located centres and be part of an international team focussed on providing high quality education and share a passion for people.
To be successful as the Early Years English teacher, you must be a native English speaker with Bachelor Degree as minimum, ideally with an education focus, or if not at least 120+ hour TEFL and a clean criminal background. Ideally you will be someone who has been in a training school environment for at least a year, preferably two. Ideally, you will have aspirations of ownership and management, as they plan on opening two new schools in the coming year and will promote from within.

Salary depends on you and ranges from 230,000 – 400,000 CNY, 10,000 CNY flight allowance, with visa provided.
