As well as traditional publication, they offer a number of other services, including support to teachers, delivering digital learning and assessment platforms, creating online research tools for students and researchers, providing freely available digital language resources.
As a result of their successful growth in the examinations market they need an Examinations Operations Manager.
As the Examinations Operations Manager, you will be a core member of the mainland China examinations team. Your main responsibilities will be to work with the Oxford AQA central team to develop in-depth understanding of Oxford AQA examinations administration work, policies and procedures and to provide training to examinations' officers at authorized Oxford AQA test centers and to assist Oxford AQA test centers to deliver examiniations in alignment with Oxford AQA policies. You will work closely with schools throughout the approval process, making sure they are aware of approval guidelines and requirements. As the Examinations Operations Manager, you will advise schools on improvement plans based on inspection results; assist centres in student registration – train, keep track and troubleshoot and facilitate examinations logistics, working with the central team and partners in customs clearance, dispatch, and collections from test centres.
You must be organised, focused, and a good people person.
To be successful in this role, you should have over 3 years’ work experience, with some of them being in an international school as an examination’s officer. Have a good understanding and knowledge of the British examination system with existing connections within the education industry. You need to be a great communicator, both written and verbally. Fluent in English and Chinese.
