The school offers world-class bilingual education bringing together the best of the British National Curriculum and Chinese education systems for Chinese pupils aged 2–18.
As a result of their expansion, they are seeking Early Years Classroom Teachers for their new school opening in Nantong, China for August 2022.
As the Early Years Classroom Teacher, you will be a specialist, qualified teacher of nursery, reception, or year one pupils.  As most of the pupils are Chinese, you will help them on their journey to developing fluency in English as they progress to primary school at age 6. You will be supported by Chinese-speaking teaching partners, teaching assistants and early year assistants.



Key Responsibilities include:

• Maintain the highest standards of care, child protection and safeguarding
• Be a passionate advocate of Early Years pupils learning through play
• Motivate pupils to stretch their level of ability and potential through engagement with a stimulating learning environment
• Contribute to the academic development plan and evolution of the nursery through creating a culture of excellence.

To be successful as the Early Years teacher, you need a Bachelor’s degree, teaching certificate with a major in Early Years Education or related.  You must be a native level English speaker, with a minimum of 2 years working experience teaching Early Years.
