Our client is an authorized IB World School Kindergarten, part of a large establish education group, who aim to cultivate their pupils with a global perspective, “rooted in China”, with “eyes on the world”, and who have self-respect, confidence, self-discipline, and independence.



Now in their fourth year, they are opening a new school in Gucun, Shanghai, and as such are looking for three English kindergarten teachers one of whom will be the Head Teacher.
As the Head Kindergarten teacher, you will oversee two other teachers and provide IB English lessons to children aged 2 – 6, with a maximum class size of 25 with 2 local teachers and 1 nursery governess, Monday to Friday, 0800 - 1630.



To be successful as the Head Teacher, you need to love children and be passionate about early years education.  You need to be a native English speaker with a bachelor’s degree or above, preferably an Education Major, and if not have at least a 120- hour TESOL / TEFL etc. certificate.  You need a minimum of two years work experience in an early years setting with at least one year in a leadership capacity, Head Teacher, Head of Department or similar.
