As a result of their success in disrupting the boarding school sector, they are opening a new Boarding School / Academy in the US that at full capacity, will cater to 1300 students.

They prepare students for success by working with them to discover and develop their strengths and by providing them with an academic environment that will see them thrive, and as such our seeking a Pathway Manager to be based in the US in New York for an August 2020 start.
A critical player in this support, each Pathway Manager is responsible for a cohort of students and acts as a liaison between the student, family, home office, and school to advocate for and fully support their success in school. As the Pathway Manager you will be responsible for Academic Guidance, Pastoral Counselling, Relationships, and Communication, acting as primary point of contact for academic and other matters to the student, family, admissions office and school. You will be mainly dealing with Chinese students and as such will get the chance to fly to China to meet with students, parents and other colleagues.
To be a successful Pathway Manager you need to be bi-lingual in Chinese (Mandarin) and English, and either be American, or have a valid US work visa / green card etc. and have experience in a similar setting, for example Guidance Counsellor, Boarding Parent, etc. You need to be empathetic, a good communicator, who enjoys connecting with people and most importantly trustworthy and caring.
In return you will get to make a real difference in your students lives, and receive a competitive salary of between 55,000 – 65,000 USD plus housing, and flights if required.
