Regional Head of Recruitment and People Development, Global British Education Group, Shanghai, China
Our client is an elite British education group with K-12 boarding schools in China. As well as schools, they offer education consulting services, for students wishing to enter well-known overseas universities by providing professional advisory services, and tailor-made study abroad programs through branches in China, the UK, and US. In addition to international educational advisory services and subject counselling, they also offer holiday courses aimed at providing Chinese students with real opportunities to study and live abroad.
As a result of the Group’s development plans and objectives, they are looking for a Regional Head of Recruitment & People Development.
As the Regional Head of Recruitment & People Development, you will be responsible for the recruitment management and implementation of Chinese teachers across the group's international school division. You will regularly analyse the international education and teaching environment. And, according to the changes in external policies, as well as the overall international education market situation, continually develop corresponding teachers and related personnel recruitment and development strategies, programs, and implementation, to ensure efficiency and competitiveness of teacher recruitment and development.
To be successful as the Regional Head of Recruitment & People Development, you need to have a bachelor’s degree or above, have over five years of school-related recruitment management, with experience in teacher recruitment. Ideally you have the right channels of hiring Chinese teachers from top universities, as well as overseas. You need strong oral English and Chinese communication skills and understand, respect and be able to build bridges between Chinese and Western culture.
