As the Head of Upper Primary, you will play a vital role in shaping the learning environment for students in Grades 3-5.
You will be responsible for:
Creating a positive and supportive culture for learning.
Overseeing the care, wellbeing, behaviour, and personal development of students.
Promoting positive student behaviour and agency of learning.
Contributing to teacher recruitment, induction, and ongoing development.
Facilitating a strong home-school partnership.
Leading the Upper Primary Leadership Team.
We are looking for a candidate who:
Has a strong academic background and a proven track record of success in leading innovative teaching and learning initiatives.
Is an exceptional teacher with the ability to inspire and motivate students.
Possesses deep knowledge of curriculum and effective teaching strategies for Grades 1-5.
Is a skilled conceptual thinker who can contribute to the development of progressive new strategies for the school.
Is experienced in implementing initiatives, managing projects, and building stakeholder support.
Is committed to the professional development of themselves and their staff.
Has excellent written and spoken English and effective interpersonal communication skills.
Has a relevant tertiary degree and teaching qualification.
Has experience working in an international and bilingual school environment (preferred).
Has at least five years of teaching experience (preferred).
Has demonstrated educational leadership experience (preferred).
